‘Rangasthalam’ is booming in Japan… record breaking on the first day
Rangasthalam movie directed by Sukumar starring global star Ram Charan and Samantha was a blockbuster hit in 2018. Ram Charan’s performance as a deaf man in this film was praised by critics and the film shook the box office in terms of collections.
The latest stage movie was released in Japan. The film broke records on the first day and created a buzz. It was released on 70 screens on its first day in Tokyo, grossing 2.5 million yen. Rangasthalam has set a new record for being the first Indian film to gross at this level on its release day.
Ram Charan starrer RRR film was also highly appreciated by the Japanese. There is a good market for Telugu movies and other Indian language movies in Japan.
