Richard E Grant will preside over the BAFTA awards event-Jan 18, 2023
The 2023 BAFTA Film Awards will be hosted by Swazi actor Richard E. Grant, the organisation announced on Monday morning.
Along with Alison Hammond, Vick Hope, and Ali Plumb, presenters for the event, the actress joins a group of recently confirmed hosts.
Richard E Grant remarked in a statement released along with the news, “I feel enormously honoured to be hosting the EE BAFTAs for the first time and the opportunity to showcase the very best of the incredible range of this year’s films.”
According to Jane Millichip, chief executive of BAFTA, “We are privileged to have a terrific line-up of hosts for our 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards, all of whom exhibit humour, charm, and warmth.”
On the evening of February 19, the BAFTA Film Awards will be televised from London’s Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Center. The nominees for this year will be revealed on Thursday.
