Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has broken his silence on the shocking attack that took place at his Bandra residence on January 16. The incident, which left the film industry stunned, involved an intruder who entered the house intending to commit a robbery and then launched a violent knife attack on the actor.
Following the assault, Saif Ali Khan sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai by his family. After undergoing treatment, he was recently discharged and is now recovering. Meanwhile, police have arrested the suspect and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan recounted the harrowing experience for the first time. He revealed that his kurta was completely soaked in blood after the attack. His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, was desperately trying to arrange an auto or cab to take him to the hospital.
Saif also shared an emotional moment with his son, Taimur Ali Khan. He recalled that upon seeing him injured, Taimur asked, “Dad, are you going to die?” Saif reassured his son, telling him, “No, nothing like that will happen.” He added that Taimur accompanied him to the hospital, which gave him a sense of comfort and reassurance that he was not alone during the ordeal.
Meanwhile, the police investigation is ongoing, and authorities are questioning the accused to gather more details about the attack.
