If ongoing buzz in media and film industry are to be believed, Samantha Akkineni is all set to sign another flick in which she will be seen sharing the screen space with Prasanna. Recently Samantha Akkineni made official announcement regarding his upcoming project which is titled Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayantara, which will be helmed by Vignesh Shivan.
Interestingly, Prasanna was also a part of Sam starrer Baana Kaathadi, which was her first release in Tamil. Now once again they are going to team up for a woman centric thriller film, which will be directed by Ashwin Saravanan of ‘Game Over’ fame. The sources say that Ashwin Saravanan approached Samantha Akkineni to play the lead in this film. If all goes well, Samantha Akkineni and Prasanna will be playing the lead in the untitled film which will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu.
On the otherside, Prasanna’ recent offering in Mafia which has hit the theaters on Friday, where he essayed the menacing role. The action thriller film Mafia is directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. The film also has Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar in leading roles.
Besides the films, Samantha Akkineni also completed shooting for the second season of ‘The Family Man 2’.
