PM Modi performs darshan and puja at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to open the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, a massive project that is intended to significantly improve tourism in Varanasi.
PM Modi arrived at Varanasi airport on Monday morning and then went to the Kaal Bhairav shrine.
PM Modi lay the foundation stone for the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor on March 8, 2019.
It covers an area of 5 lakh square feet. To provide devotees with a variety of facilities, up to 23 additional structures were built.
PM Modi stated that the initiative will add to the spiritual vibrancy of Kashi.
The plan is to build a 20-25 foot wide corridor from Varanasi’s Lalita Ghat to the temple’s Mandir Chowk, allowing at least two lakh people to be present at any given moment.
