1- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan replies to TDP leader Pattabhi Ram’s disparaging statements

Amaravati: Responding to disparaging statements made by TDP politicians about the Chief Minister, who is in a constitutional position, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed distress while speaking to the media here on Thursday.

He said that TDP officials had referred to the CM as Bosidiki, which means “son of a prostiute.”

Jagan questioned the TDP as to why the CM’s mother was being abused.

He stated that the main opposition is reportedly planning tactics to incite religious hate through derogatory remarks.

TDP official spokesman Pattabhi Ram is reported to have allegedly insulted Jagan, leading to an attack on TDP headquarters.

2- Chandrababu is on a 36-hour deeksha and claims TDP leaders are willing to sacrifice their life for the sake of the people.

Amaravati: Despite police registering charges against them, TDP leaders are willing to give their life for the people of Andhra Pradesh, said party head N Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday while addressing the TDP cadre after beginning the 36-hour Dharma Deeksha.

Chandrababu slammed DGP Gautam Sawang for explaining his absence from a call made by him.

The TDP supremo said that the smuggling of illegal narcotics in the state remains unabated.

His 36-hour demonstration outside the party headquarters will come to an end on Friday evening.

3- The YSRCP has called for a 48-hour Janaagraha demonstration in response to Chandrababu’s 36-hour deeksha.

To oppose TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s 36-hour deeksha, which began this morning at the TDP central office, the YSRCP announced a 48-hour Janaagraha protest in all assembly constituencies beginning Thursday.

In a statement to the media, YSRCP general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy requested that Chandrababu apologise to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly disparaging statements made by TDP official spokesman K Pattabhi Ram during a news conference.

Earlier, Chandrababu informed reporters that he had brought YSRCP activists’ damage on TDP premises to the attention of the Centre.

4- Pattabhi read a portion from Mohan Babu’s film during a press conference: Raavi TDP

Raavi Venkateswara Rao, a former TDP MLA, claimed here on Thursday that TDP official spokesperson K Pattabhi Ram had quoted a movie line. Raavi told the reporters that the TDP is battling against the use of illegal substances in the state since the governing administration has failed to control drug smuggling.

“Pattabhi had repeated the passage from a Mohan Babu film because he was concerned about the future of children,” he said in response to a query.

Following Pattabhi’s arrest and the attack on the TDP Central Office, both the government and opposition parties are protesting.

5- TDP office attack: MLA Roja slams Chandrababu for seeking Amit Shah’s intervention

On Thursday, YSRCP officials led by MLA Roja organised a protest in Puttur, Chittoor district.

They chanted anti-TDP chants against N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh. In a statement to the media, the MLA requested that Chandrababu apologise to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly offensive remarks made by TDP official spokesman Pattabhi Ram.

Roja chastised Chandrababu for requesting Union Minister Amit Shah’s interference in Andhra Pradesh’s issues for minor damage to the TDP Central Office.

She said that in May 2018, TDP politicians and workers threw stones at Amit Shah’s convoy at Tirumala, which was directed by Chandrababu.
