Tornado confirmed near Alvarado-2022-Weather Alert
According to the National Weather Service, the weather alert was verified late Monday near Alvarado as severe thunderstorms continued to sweep through the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
According to the meteorological service, the cyclone watch is in force for Tarrant County and the neighbouring counties of North Texas until 2 a.m. Tuesday. Johnson, Dallas, Denton, and Collin counties are also under surveillance.
The biggest hazards from the storms include huge hail, severe winds, and isolated tornadoes, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Steve Fano in Fort Worth.
