Vijayashanthi appointed as chief coordinator of Telangana Congress campaign committee
Vijayashanti, who joined Congress from BJP, got a key position in the party. The party has included Ramulamma, as she is popularly known by her screen name, in the campaign committee and planning committee.
She has been assigned as the Chief Coordinator of Campaign Committee and Convener of Planning Committee.
Meanwhile, former MP Vijayashanthi rejoined the Congress fold on Friday. It is known that AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge put the party scarf in Hyderabad on Friday, November 17, 2023.
On the other hand, Parijata, who was hoping for Maheshwaram ticket, was also entrusted with the responsibilities of the convener.
A total of 15 conveners have been announced. Samarasimha Reddy, Pushpalila, Malluravi, Kodanda Reddy, Vem Narender Reddy, Ramesh Mudiraj, Parijata Reddy, Siddeshwar, Alibin Ibrahim Maskati, Deepak John, Obeddula Kotwal, Rammurthy Naik and many others are in this list.
It is reported that Vijayashanthi will talk to the media on Saturday. It will be interesting to see what she is going to say in the key press meet.
Meanwhile Vijayashanti made interesting comments on the occasion of joining the party. She expressed confidence that Congress party is an alternative to BRS in Telangana. She stated that she joined the Congress with the aim of confining KCR to the farmhouse.
