Afwaah Trailer Gives Thrilling Glimpse of Bhumi and Nawaz’s Characters
Upcoming film ‘Afwaah’ directed by Sudhir Mishra, known for his critically acclaimed movie ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, has released its trailer on Wednesday. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bhumi Pednekar, Sumeet Vyas, T.J. Bhanu, and Sharib Hashmi.
The two minutes and thirty seconds trailer showcases Sumeet as a politician who chases after his fiancee (played by Bhumi) after she runs away from home, with Nawaz’s character coming to her rescue. A rumor of the two characters eloping is spread by those in power, which ultimately leads to their lives being turned upside down. The movie is a quirky thriller that delves into the power of rumors.
This will be Sudhir’s second collaboration with Nawazuddin Siddiqui after their success with ‘Serious Men’. Produced by Anubhav Sinha under his banner Benaras Mediaworks, ‘Afwaah‘ will hit theatres on May 5, 2023.
