Dhanush, a big star in Tamil cinema, bought his parents, Kasthuriraja and Vijayalakshmi, a mansion in Chennai’s affluent Poes Garden neighbourhood as a gift. Subramaniam Siva, an actor, director, and the head of the Dhanush fan club, announced the move and called the house paradise.

There were rumours that Dhanush had split up with his wife Aishwarya Rajanikanth, the daughter of south Indian megastar Rajanikanth, but the couple is rumoured to have reconciled for the sake of their children Yatra Raja and Linga Raja. Their rapprochement has been linked to Rajanikanth.
