Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 Update: Maruti Suzuki Elevates Popular Hatchback Model
The Maruti Suzuki Swift remains one of the most popular hatchback models in India, and its updated 2024 version was released on Thursday.
While there have been some updates to the features, the design has not been significantly altered.
Maruti has introduced a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine in the Swift, which is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The engine delivers a maximum power of 80 BHP along with 112 Nm of torque and offers a mileage of 25.72 kilometers per liter, according to the company.
The interior of the Swift has been upgraded to match the premium look of the Franxs, Brezza, and Baleno. It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The top-end model includes advanced features like a 9-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, wireless charging, and rear AC vents.
Safety features across all variants now standardly include six airbags.
Additional safety features include electronic stability control, hill start assist, and reverse parking assistance.
The price range for the new Swift is from ₹6.50 lakh to ₹9.65 lakh, available in five different variants.
Design-wise, the bumper has been modified, and a new grille has been installed.
The headlights are equipped with LED DRLs, and the rear also features a new bumper with a skid plate and distinctive C-shaped DRLs.
