Pavithra Jayaram, Beloved ‘Tilottama,’ Dies in Tragic Accident
Pavithra Jayaram, a well-known television actress renowned for her role as ‘Tilottama’ in the serial “Trinayani,” tragically died in a road accident.
The accident occurred early this morning in Sheripalli near Bhoothpur on Highway No. 44 in Mahbubnagar district, where her car collided with a road divider and then struck an RTC bus.
Pavithra was traveling with family members and fellow actor Chandrakanth, who were also injured in the crash. Pavithra, originally from Karnataka, was en route to Hyderabad for a TV serial shooting when the accident happened. Her death has cast a shadow of grief over the Telugu and Kannada TV industries.
Despite portraying a negative role as ‘Tilottama’ in the Zee Telugu channel’s serial “Trinayani,” Pavithra had amassed a large fan base.
The management of Zee Telugu expressed profound shock and described her death as an irreplaceable loss, stating that it is impossible to envision anyone else filling her role as ‘Tilottama.’
The Zee Telugu family expressed deep sorrow over her untimely demise.
