Savitribai Phule, a pioneer in women’s education and social reform, is celebrated for her contributions to advancing women’s rights. Recognizing her legacy, the government has chosen her birth anniversary to honor women educators.

The Telangana United Teachers’ Federation (UTF) has welcomed this move, expressing appreciation for the government’s decision under the leadership of Revanth Reddy. The initiative aims to celebrate the role of women teachers in shaping society and to highlight their contributions to education and empowerment.

The celebrations will include various programs to honor women educators and promote awareness about the contributions of Savitribai Phule.
