Singer Sunita’s Spouse Targeted with Threats
Veerapaneni Ram, the husband of singer Sunita, has told the Hyderabad Banjara Hills Police that he has received threatening phone calls and that his life is in danger.
Currently, the couple resides at Banjara Hills Road No. 2’s Women’s Cooperative Society.
A few days ago, Ram received a message from someone going by the name of KK Laxman asking to meet in person and claiming to be a member of the Film Producers Council. Ram declined, saying that if it was a business concern, he should meet with his staff.
Despite this, Laxman continued and started threatening people on March 28th using a different phone number.
Ram reported the incident to the authorities after becoming concerned for his, wife and his family’s safety. The police have now opened an investigation and registered a case.
