Telangana government extends lockdown period with time relaxation

Telangana’s administration recently prolonged the state’s lockdown for another ten days.

The daily rest break was extended from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attended a state cabinet meeting today and decided to extend the relaxation period until 1 p.m.

Those who leave after that time would be granted another hour to return home, i.e. till 2 p.m.

KT Rama Rao, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, took to Twitter to make an important announcement:

“Cabinet has agreed that Students travelling overseas for further study would be provided vaccine on priority so they may travel safely.”

The Minister also discussed the Cabinet decision to create seven medical colleges in Mahbubabad, Sangareddy, Nagar Kurnool, Jagtyal, Wanaparthy, Kothagudem, and Mancherial.
